At Bryanston Primary School we endeavour to educate learners and develop an educational plan around individual needs. We encourage full participation in the life of the school and strive to instil high moral values in our learners. We believe in nurturing self-respect, respect for others and pride in our property.
Learners at Bryanston Primary School are encouraged to participate in school and community projects. We offer a wide variety of sports, cultural and academic activities for learners. As a school we also know that it is only in giving our best and not expecting anything in return that we truly prosper as individuals, a school and as a community. We distinguish ourselves by supporting and giving to those that are in need in our school community and those in our local community.

The school is housed in the Shree Radhe Shyam Mandir Hall in make shift classrooms. However, there is a project in progress to build classrooms. The school is run for three hours every Saturday afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00. The running of the school is overseen by a committee of parents who take overall responsibility for the running of school.
Our children benefit from both the academic activities and the social context created by the school as well in forming their individual sense of self as young South African Gujarati Hindus. Parents and families living out in the northern suburbs also find the school a focal point for networking and meeting new and old friends on a regular basis. It’s great fun.
Harmonium and Tabla lessons run every Saturday (including school holidays) from 13H00 to 14H00 from beginning of January to end November.
If you are interested in sending your children to the school please complete the enrollment form in the downloads section and hand to teachers at the school. Application Form Download

St David’s Marist Inanda forms part of the legacy of St Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the Marist Order in the 18th Century. Living through the turmoil of the French Revolution, Marcellin grew to become a great educator and a humble leader, founding the Congregation of the Little Brothers of Mary, the origin of the Marist education system.
The secret of his success lay in the simplicity of his relationships, and in the confidence he placed in his followers. He had a special place in his heart for the poor and the disadvantaged. At his death he left behind 280 Brothers and 48 schools with thousands of students.
Today St David’s shares in the rich legacy of St Marcellin. It is one of hundreds of Marist schools, youth institutions and universities around the world that strive to carry on his work.
Since 1941, St David’s Marist Inanda has, in the Marist ethos, been a place of both teaching and learning; a place where children receive the benefits of an education at a school whose strength and history afford every child the opportunity to achieve his full potential, to find both roots and wings.
Each boy is encouraged to develop his own special talents and achieve excellence in our core areas of Academics, Culturals, Leadership, Service or Sport. We believe that our boys leave us with the values and skills needed to make a meaningful contribution to their families and to society.
